One of a kind
This large black and white abstract portrait is constructed from thousands of hand-placed dots. Each mark is applied manually. No automation. No shortcuts.
The surface is built through repetition and control. Structure emerges slowly, through density and restraint. What appears continuous is made from discrete, deliberate actions.
The work reflects on perception, memory, and the instability of personal narrative — inspired by Holly (The Summer Girl) in Jenny Blackhurst’s novel. Events are interpreted differently depending on perspective. What appears certain begins to fracture as hidden histories and private truths surface. The painting reflects that tension: a portrait where structure emerges from thousands of deliberate marks, a visual study of how identity forms under pressure of memory, doubt, and perception.
From a distance: stability. Up close: accumulation. Each dot records a decision. Enough controlled marks create clarity.
This textured dot painting creates a tactile surface at scale — suitable as large wall art for a living room, bedroom, or modern interior. A contemporary abstract portrait for collectors who value process, concept, and craft.
Original handmade painting. Ships worldwide from Lithuania. No prints. No editions. Only one exists.
